Time has not been kind.
In sadness did I rock, I sway.
But now my path is set ablaze.
To victory I walk, sword in hand,
Toward the battle I am

Light shines in my hand,
Truth spells in my mouth.

Set forth mighty heroes,
The win is in my eye.
To Victory we cross,
For all that shall be.

Fine is the word to hide all
It is the conversation ender
It is the building blocks of illusions in the mind
Its what every one mumbles
if asked if they're alright
"I'm fine"
they lie
their heads held up high
in false pride

when inside they

is always the last thing
on their mind
Desprately clinging
to that line

Fine is the word
that rolls from the tongue
before anything else
be it the painful truth
Or the sweetened lies
Fine is alway the catch all
its what we all hide behind

END THE PAIN
She stood looking over the edge
Contemplating the rocks below.
How would it feel
As they rushed up to greet her?
Where was her resolve now?
Could she follow through
with her plan
Because of a man?
She desperately wanted to end the pain
Out here in the rain
While she was still sane.
It would only take a minute
to fling herself over the edge
and greet her death.
What about him?
Would he care
about what they shared?
Or would he throw it all away
Because he was swayed
By the comments of a few?
Who had nothing to lose?

Inspired by Storm Constantine's The Way of Light. This is really a speech that I could see Valraven speaking to his men but much more elaborate. 
I think a Dramatic Monologue may be in order.
